It’s a deck building game, Jim, but not as we know it… …actually, I wouldn’t know – this is the first deck building game (other than Munchkin) I’ve played.I bought this as a Christmas gift for my youngest daughter (15), who *loves* ST-TOS – and that’s the primary appeal: the ST universe in all it’s TOS glory, along with the game mechanics. There’s enough variety in strategy to keep it interesting. The quality of construction is solid. The rules can be annoying vague, so you’ll have to make some calls on their meaning early on. And, hey, it’s ST – TOS. What’s not to love.

I want my husband back So, my husband purchased this game. Since then, his friends invite him over all the time and make him bring this card game. I’ve seen meth addicts resist more than these guys. He has to play it with them every lunch period, every weekend, every time he visits them. They’re relentless in their demands. Apparently, this game is so fun, he has to bring it to every social occasion. They used to play other games, but now even his peripheral friends call him up and ask him to bring his game to their gatherings. Even my famous queso attracts less attention than this board game.If you want your spouse to spend more time with his board-game addicted friends, this is the game for you. Also, if you have to play it with him, be sure you win
