Awesome version for the Settlers fan! My family plays Settlers of Catan all the time and we just love it! Seafarers was a great way to keep the game fresh and new. There are so many different versions even within the seafarers game, which is neat because it never gets old. We’ve had this game for a while and just last night we played a new version of this game. It’s like getting a bunch of games all in one box! I highly recommend it to the settlers fan. We love it! What a great way for friends and families to bond 🙂

Not a must-have The “Seafarers of Catan” is a nice add-on and extension of the original game, but no must-have. In my opinion, it can last really long and the game becomes boring for the persons who already know that they are not going to win.

Not as much fun as Settlers of Catan We love Settlers of Catan, and so we bought the Seafarers of Catan too. However it isn’t as loved as the original because it takes longer to reach the islands which makes players put their settlements on the main island and not bother to gather resources to reach other islands. Hence those who take the trouble to reach other islands end up losing the game.
