Gives the flavor of Settlers in a quick format I was pleasantly suprised by this game. I thought it would be predictable (just draw and play cards), but there is real room for nuance and strategy here. Especially with 3-4 players. This game gives the flavor of Catan (gathering/trading for resources to build your kingdom), but in a very quick format with no setup time. I find my family will play it if we have a free 15-30 minutes, which is nearly how long it takes just to set up a game of Settlers.Recommended!

A Different Kind of Catan Game Most of the Catan games have you trying to build up a large principality with connecting roads, city enhancements, knights, victory points, and so on. This has all of that, too, but it strikes me more like a Catan flavored card game than Catan’s normal in-depth building and trading game. It’s fast-paced. Each turn likely lasting less than a minute or thirty seconds. One whole game can be played in probably 5 – 15 minutes. Maybe longer for more players, but I’ve just played with two.
