Good game but can get a little boring I think this game is good. (I’m still playing it) It’s not quite a city builder or rts but more of a hybrid. The goal is to advance your population level by fulfilling the peoples needs, which involves creating trade routes, managing resources and dealing with diplomacy. There is fighting in this game but its not the main focus its mostly about fulfilling the people’s needs.Normally I would give this game a 5 but after 30 hours of play I’m starting to get a little bored. I think its mainly my fault because I’ve been doing mostly scenerios which means I have to start over from the beginning each time I pick a new scenerio. I still recommend getting this game because its very addicting and you’ll get your moneys worth.Just a little side note. This game can have a steep learning curve if your new to the Anno series so I recommend watching some video tutorials on how to play the game. Just go to Youtube and you’ll find some there.

A good value with hours of fun gameplay, but it does get old I got this game almost as an impulse buy because it was so cheap. I think I paid like $7 for it. I definately got my money’s worth out of it too, I probably played for 100-150 hours doing the primary mission and half (3) of the challenges. It does get a little repetative after a while regardless of which challenge you’re doing. Same idea each time, you build up your city, expand your product trees, etc. The end goal may be different for each challenge but you have to take the same road to get there most of the time. So I did get to a point in which I thought about doing the other 3 challenges but I kind of felt like I had been there and done that. Of course by that point I had been playing for well over 100 hours so the game definately was well worth it even if I didn’t do EVERYTHING.I never did touch the Venice add on either. Maybe I was a little burned out after so many hours with the original or maybe I was concerned that it was basically more of the same with…

Good game This is a fun, very time-consuming game in it’s low pace. I picked this up because I love the older Settler’s games and they’re both by Blue Byte. The concept of the game is very familiar, albeit less complicated and more centered on city building than war. You have to play the original .exe instead of the gold edition to get to the tutorial too, and it has a bit of a learning curve.
